Change initiatives are a vital component of keeping a business competitive. To ensure a successful outcome, two sets of processes are necessary — those which are constructed as part of the change initiative, and the processes that are used to manage the implementation of the initiative itself. The importance of the latter processes is often overlooked, despite their impact on the success of the the initiative’s outcome.
