Diversity and inclusion in today’s workplace

Across our country and certainly here in New Hampshire, the Skills Gap and Workforce Development tend to monopolize a lot of conversations I am hearing. And although the impacts of the gap are felt across industries, it seems that it is especially a critical area of focus when it comes to Technology.

As we focus on solutions, I felt it imperative that organizations ensuring that their workplaces reflect the diversity of adults in the population – it is simply a socially responsible thing to do. In addition, there is now proof that diversity provides tangible business benefits as well: numerous research studies are concluding that a focus on diversity helps a company’s bottom line; these studies are finding direct correlations between employee diversity and positive business results.
